Still Dry

Not much to report this week. We had our first real storm that dumped some serious rain and we are still dry! Our neighborhood flooded, but our property stayed dry. There are still some areas without power, but I don't think we had more than a brown-out or two. The rain started Thursday night and continued through Sunday with Friday being the worst of it.

I was out of town briefly this weekend for a friends 30th birthday so we didn't make a whole lot of progress. We got the first coat of mud and tape on the drywall in the living room. We had previously done this in the kitchen, but since the focus was on getting the cabinets in we let the living room go.

This week we hope to finish up the mudding and continue getting the cabinets in. There are a few tricky things to figure out with our refrigerator cabinet that should keep us busy.
